McDonald’s Hiring for Food Service Jobs in San Antonio

McDonald’s Restaurant in San Antonio is holding a job fair in order to recruit for food service jobs in San Antonio.

The job fair will be held Tuesday from 9 – 5 PM. The chain is looking for crew members, managers, assistant managers, and maintenance workers.

Benefits vary depending on the position. But flexible schedules, comprehensive medical and dental insurance, paid vacation, tuition reimbursement, and other perks are available for employees.

In order to ensure applicants are prepared for the interview, McDonald’s asks that all who attend the job fair come with their social security cards and a photo I.D.

Chase Hiring for Customer Service Reps in San Antonio

Chase Bank has announced it’s recruiting for a bevy of new positions, including customer service reps for San Antonio.

The positions will be functioning at the San Antonio retail operations center.

Chase plans on hiring customer service reps, claims, and collections. Most of the jobs are entry-level positions.

The new workers will support Chase’s expanding branch network in the U.S., because the company plans on opening an additional 125 branches across the nation.

Chase has about 4,000 employees and 47 branches in San Antonio.

The Chase operations center is at 20855 Stone Oak Parkway, where about 2,100 people are employed. Chase reps had no comment on the average salaries for these positions but did say they would be competitive.

Schools Hiring for Teaching Jobs in San Antonio

Many school districts in San Antonio are looking to fill several teaching jobs in San Antonio before the new school year begins.

Harlandale, Northeast and San Antonio Independent School Districts are hiring right now. Teachers are needed for all areas, including special education, math, and science.

Northside ISD is the only district with no openings. Many are also looking to fill transportation jobs such as bus drivers.

Effective January 1, 2008, Texas law requires that all prospective school employees submit to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check and be cleared for employment.

If you are offered a position in a Texas school district, you will be required to pay a non-refundable fee to submit a fingerprint supported criminal background check prior to beginning employment.

In addition, substitute and part-time teachers are always needed.
