Online retailer creating San Antonio jobs?

Amazon is hiring thousands of workers this season and may even be looking to fill San Antonio jobs.

The online retailer said it wants to hire about 50,000 people for the holiday season.

The seasonal position will be at fulfillment centers across the United States, depending on the location.

Amazon said it pays its full-time, permanent employees 30 percent more than what traditional retail store employees earn.

Full time employees also receive stock grants.

Over the past five years the has resulted in an average of 9 percent to base pay annually.
